Job Description
Responsible for the complete care of a 78-year-old elderly male, including assistance with bathing, feeding, diaper changing, administering medications, and preparing meals specifically for the elderly person. This role requires patience, dedication, and a compassionate approach to daily caregiving needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor medication intake and provide timely reminders
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as per dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and engage in recreational activities
- Maintain hygiene, including diaper changing and sponge baths
- Accompany clients on walks, appointments, or short drives (where required)
- Follow care plans and communicate regularly with families or supervisors.
Skill & Experience
- Minimum 1–5 years of caregiving or domestic work experience
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) preferred (for elder care roles)
- Experience handling elderly, bed-ridden, or special-needs clients
- Ability to manage hygiene routines and personal care sensitively
- Basic cooking skills, especially for dietary or cultural preferences
- Valid driver’s license for driver-related roles
- Friendly, patient, and emotionally mature demeanor
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
