Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and experienced part-time cook to prepare healthy and high-quality meals every alternate day of the week, typically 3 to 4 days depending on the schedule. Each shift will be approximately 4 hours per day. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in cooking nutritious food, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and accommodating dietary preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare fresh, healthy, and flavorful meals as per household needs.
- Follow any special dietary instructions (e.g., vegetarian, low-salt, diabetic-friendly, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen before, during, and after cooking.
- Organize ingredients and manage pantry inventory effectively.
- Ensure timely meal preparation and proper food storage.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience in home or professional cooking.
- Knowledge of balanced nutrition and healthy meal planning.
- Ability to prepare meals independently and manage time well.
- Good communication skills and a pleasant demeanor in a home setting.
- Familiarity with basic food safety and hygiene practices.
